A resiliency workshop series specifically designed for veterinarians and their staff.

Are you having any of these questions about your work? Join a Let’s Talk group.

Research has shown it can be highly beneficial for workers across the employment spectrum to share the rewards and challenges of their work with one another. Telling your story to others provides increased perspective and relief, while decreasing feelings of isolation.  Sharing your experiences with professionals in a supportive environment can be a powerful antidote to burn-out. The Let’s Talk group offers participants a wonderful place for camaraderie, a safe place to laugh, learn, and share the tough stuff.

The Let’s Talk Program consists of virtual workshops for staff members within the veterinary community: Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians and Practice Managers.

 These workshops offer:

  • In-depth discussions of actual work experiences

  • Increased self-awareness

  • Basic Mindfulness theory and practices

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Techniques

  • An Introduction to Self-Compassion skills.

In the course of six sessions, the Let’s Talk program provides ample time to examine important shared issues through open-ended conversations.  The resiliency skills offered are practical and can be directly applied in the clinic/hospital.

No other program offers both of these critical resiliency building components.

Let’s Talk gives greater insight into how your work environment affects you and offers improved coping strategies.
